Air-Stream Wireless works with TerraPages

Air-stream and TerraPages work to develop a new node and IP database for the wireless community providing detailed street level map information and directions.

Air-stream is a non profit community organisation, the first in South Australia to successfully build a Wide Area Network (WAN) using class licence radio communications and open source software.

There aim is to deploy a low-cost community broadband infrastructure for sharing information resources such as websites, email, audio, video, Voice over IP and other forms of IP communications.

Airsteam has pooled skills and resources accross Australia to develop systems that that are outside the scope of commercial organisations.
